NAIL PREPARATIONUpdated 5 days ago
1. Begin by applying Cuticle Softener along the cuticle area and allow it to sit for one minute. Optionally, immerse your hand in warm water to enhance the softening effect on the cuticles.
2. Utilising either our Pro Cuticle Pusher or Glass Cuticle Pusher, gently and carefully push back the cuticles, starting approximately one-third down the nail bed. This step not only ensures clean nail beds but also facilitates smoother gel application.
3. Use the flat end of the Pro Cuticle Pusher or the pointed end of the Glass Cuticle Pusher to delicately eliminate dead skin around the cuticle area.
4. Use the Mini Nail Brush to scrub away any remaining particles, repeating the previous step if necessary.
5. Thoroughly wipe off any residual Cuticle Softener from the nail beds using a lint-free wipe.
6. (Optional) Trim any excess cuticle skin with our Pro Cuticle Clippers.
7. Rinse your hands thoroughly and pat dry with a paper towel to remove any remaining softener residue.
8. Achieve your desired nail length and shape by filing with our 100/180 Grit File or Pro File.
9. Lightly buff around the cuticle and nail bed using our Soft Buffer Block or 100/180 Grit File, ensuring a textured surface conducive to gel adhesion.
10. Use the Mini Nail Brush to meticulously remove any remaining particles, ensuring a clean nail plate free from dust, which could disrupt gel polish application.
11. Dehydrator the nail plate using our Dehydrator or 100% isopropyl alcohol, effectively removing any residual oils to optimize gel adhesion.
12. For individuals with oily nail beds, we recommend applying our Strong Hold Bond to temporarily alter the pH level of natural nails, enhancing gel adhesion for a longer-lasting manicure.
